Residents, as you may all be aware by now, the Hawkwood Farm property behind our condo complex is planned for development. Last week the City of Calgary sent out a notice to ask all residents close the project area to comment on the application.
Included in the notice are details about the development and how that development will affect you! What you'll find in your mail out package from the City of Calgary is a summary of the Development Project, Information from the Development company and a map. The Map included in your mail out by B&A Planning Group & Hopewell is VERY DIFFICULT TO READ, I have tried to find a way to summarize the details so that all of us at Arbour Lake Landing are better informed and can understand what is being developed. Please see the linked Adobe File and/or the map images below.
Let the City of Calgary know what you want to see OR don't want to see in the area. Do you want to see more green space? Are you ok with the addition of 3-5 storey multi-residential units? Your opinion may have a large impact so make it known!!!

Why is no heat in the building?

Please be advised that the Board requested that the boilers be shut off for the summer months, I will advise them that you are cold to see if they will reconsider this decision.

I am in the 2000 building since year 2005. Each unit has its own thermostat as well as the common areas have separate thermostats. The first time since I live here the f..,.ing Board decided to shut off my heat without my consent. Some of them on the board don't even live in the apartments.
