Deck Replacement
We have all been waiting to hear what is happening with our deck replacement project. So, what's happening with that?
Due to our challenging economic environment we have been lucky this year to get 4 contractor quotes (verses our typical one quote). We have a few competitive offers and are evaluating them right now! We will let you know who we will be using to help us get this project off the ground as soon as we can!
Some challenges that will need to be addressed in starting this "Deck Replacement Project" as soon as possible is safety! Some of the decks were not constructed properly so we need to make sure those decks get fixed. There is potential leaking from the decks into the homes which need to be addressed and obviously, the decks are all a bit old and will need to be revamped. The great news, a lot of the decks have great structure so hopefully we can get the decks fixed quickly once we get a good contractor!
